We are looking for a Maintenance Operative to join Sansaw Estate’s multi-faceted property maintenance team, to assist in the upkeep and repair of the Estate’s ever-expanding residential and commercial property portfolio. The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, hardworking, capable individual with a positive outlook and a multi-skilled building background.
Hours of work
40hrs/week 8:00am – 5:00pm
Sansaw is a forward-thinking modern rural estate, focused on regenerating and diversifying its assets, at the same time recognising the need to protect and enhance its existing portfolio of both residential and commercial properties. The Estate has 126 residential/agricultural properties and 50,000 sq ft of commercial work-space.
The Estate seeks to appoint an additional Property Maintenance Operative to join the busy in-house Estate Maintenance Team, that will contribute towards the completion of a variety of general building jobs that will include:
• Property refurbishments
• Property conversions
• Brick work
• Log burner installation
• Basic plumbing
• Basic tiling
• Roofing works
• Basic plastering
• Drainage work
• All ground works
• Emergency response i.e burst pipes, securing properties etc.
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience of working in the building trade
• Health and safety awareness and ability to assess risk
• Customer focused
• Ability to work within a team

From £25 – £30K per annum, dependent on qualifications, experience and references.
