When Dechra Veterinary Products moved to Sansaw Business Park it was seen by senior heads as an opportunity to provide the ultimate working environment.
The FTSE 250 company, which leads the way with its steadily increasing portfolio of pharmaceuticals, high quality cat and dog foods, animal therapy and education programmes, took up residence in the Pavilions at Sansaw Business Park and hasn’t looked back.
Giles Coley, Dechra’s marketing director, said staff wellbeing was key to performance.
“There’s a lot of time spent in these offices and to have a nice outlook and a comfortable environment generally engenders a really good team spirit and a really good atmosphere for people wanting to get up and work, because at the end of the day if they don’t want to get out of bed in the morning to come and work for Dechra, then they’re not going to produce the results that we expect.”
North Shropshire MP Owen Paterson said, during a visit in 2014: “The Sansaw estate is home to some fantastic innovative businesses, and Dechra Veterinary Products is one of those.
“What I also found impressive was the company’s commitment to supporting those working in the veterinary profession, whether that’s through funding research and learning programmes to donating products to projects where vets are working overseas.”
Dechra is an international specialist veterinary pharmaceuticals and related products business. Its expertise is in the development, manufacturing, sales and marketing of high quality products exclusively for veterinarians worldwide.
