The Bedells – William, Charlie and their two children – have lived on the Sansaw Estate for five years and say simply – “being here makes us happy”. 

“They are fabulous landlords and look after both us and the property to the top level,” says William. 

“Our children love living here and it’s a great place for them to grow up. We have space, privacy and everything we need is on the doorstep.” 

With paddocks, stabling, a tack room and haybarn, the Bedells are in for the long haul. 

“We wanted a long term lease because it was important to give us all that extra bit of security,” William explains. “I run our equine business from an office next to the house and our children go to school locally so stability is vital. 

“It’s a truly handsome house and we have grown very attached to it. The sitting room and dining room are perhaps our favourite spaces, particularly as we regularly entertain friends and family. 

“We are superbly looked after by the estate office and couldn’t be happier.”
