The Pavilions

The Pavilions, mixing the very best of 21st Century design within the confines of a Victorian walled garden.

Indeed, the £3m development was handed a coveted RIBA award thanks to the vision of both the Thompson family and architect Ross Sharpe. Constructed from wood steel and glass and using ground-source heat exchangers, passive ventilation and rainwater harvesting, the building has a low carbon footprint and a minimal impact on the environment. Opened by the late Duke of Westminster in September 2008, The Pavilions has lost none of its appeal of charm in the following years.

Eco-friendly features include passive ventilation to allow air circulation and heat management throughout the building; ground source heat exchangers for controllable under-floor heating and rainwater harvesting. Making the most of the natural resources around us, water is supplied from deep aquifers using the Estate’s private supply.

State-of-the-art voice and data systems are installed within each Pavilion, offering the latest technology to enhance communication. These systems offer secure, reliable, flexible and robust solutions to all tenants and are fully supported and maintained via our dedicated IT team.
