We have partnered up with Festive Forestry services to efficiently plant over 9,000 hedge plants in 2 days. Using their expertise, specialist machinery and a little bit of wishful thinking,  Adam and Sam from Festive Forestry had the genius idea to run hedge plants through their Christmas tree planter. Proving to be a great success, we will look to roll out the same method over the next 3 years, putting back a total of 6km of new hedge across Sansaw Estate. Five different varieties of hedge plants were mixed throughout, with trees being spaced along the hedge which will help further link up existing hedgerows and create further habitats and biodiversity within our landscape.   We also hope this method will help to encourage other farmers and landowners across the country to put more hedges what was once taken out.
